LEADERSHIP & STAFF
Dan Keller
Dan Keller owns and operates Kellerball Baseball Instruction, and serves as President of Dugout Captain Sports. A lifelong student of the game of baseball, Keller spent 2021-2024 working for MOJO Sports and then TeamSnap (via acquisition). All the while, Keller has followed his calling to work with young families and positively support personal and athletic development. Dugout Captain was created in 2015 in an effort to broaden the reach to the youth baseball community via technology. Having conducted hundreds upon hundreds of coaching clinic events in-person, Dugout Captain provides coaching tools, instructional content, through a proprietary virtual practice planning tool. This revolutionized the volunteer coach role with the primary goal of making baseball fun again! Dugout Captain was acquired by MOJO Sports in early 2022, and MOJO was acquired by TeamSnap in 2023. Prior to Dugout Captain, Keller built, ran, and sold Lifeletics Baseball. Lifeletics provides world-class fundamental baseball training with an important emphasis on positive character development and the life lessons learned through athletics.
A native of Orange County, California, Keller was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles but chose to attend and play baseball at UCLA. While injuries ended his playing career, he has since earned his Master’s Degree from Azusa Pacific University and is active in the coaching community. He is the author of two baseball books (Survival Guide to Coaching Youth Baseball – Human Kinetics and Coaching the Beginning Pitcher) and lives in Huntington Beach, California with his wife Erin and their two children – a son named Kobe and a daughter named Mackenzie.
Sam Grack
Coach Sam Grack handles administrative duties, communications, staffing, operations, and serves as a Senior Instructor for camps, clinics, and lessons. Besides that, he’s not very busy. He’s a son, a coach, a mentor, a leader, and all-around a great guy! One heck of a role-model and a young man that you WANT your young people to hang around with. We’re very happy to have Sam on board Team Kellerball.
